Compiled here are details of all the British Hetheringtons (and variant spellings) that
are listed at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
I was trying to trace details of any of my ancestors who have served our country at the
C.W.G.C, and whilst doing so realised that the site only lists minor information when
doing a search on a surname. To get detailed information I had to examine each search
result in turn.
So I decided to compile all of the information on each person into a spreadsheet of my
own. With the C.W.G.C.'s kind permission I am publishing it here for other Hetherington
researchers to make use of.
The copyright of the information remains with the C.W.G.C.
Please refer back to their web site for more details of the work they have done.
The names are only the British ones so far. I may sometime in the future add the other
commonwealth countries to these pages. The entries are all sorted by forename, since of
course most of the surnames are the same.
